these fifty odd informal pages were originally going to be a very short zine and grew into this booklet of recollection(?), a reflection(?), on a trip i was lucky enough to take on alone when i was a teenager.

I was studying in HK at the time, and learning about taoism from the internet and old books, and wanted to investigate further, so i set off during my winter break intending to visit five sacred taoist mountains in china. i’ve scattered quotes inside from the tao te ching, ideas that meant a lot to me then, that i hope doesn’t come across as too preachy now and only a little cheesy. This booklet isn’t really about daoism, and it’s not really about the doodles. Also now comes with dust jacket.
